Angola present at the Mining Forum in Canada

The Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas (MIREMPET) participated in the Forum of the Association of Prospectors and Developers of Canada (PDAC), in order to attract to the sector, the largest companies in the extractive industry worldwide, in addition to those that are already operating in Angola, as well as small and medium-sized companies.

According to a note to which, the meeting promoted by the International Chamber of Angola-Canada Business (CINAC), took place this week and brought together national ministerial representatives, namely from MIREMPET (DNRM, ENDIAMA and CATOCA), Ministry of Transport ( Port of Luanda) and the Ministry of Public Works, Urbanism and Housing (EGTI) as well as the Commercial Services Commission of the Government of Canada. 

On the occasion, MIREMPET defended that the country has been committed to improving the “Business Environment”, the diversification of mining production and the creation of conditions aimed at promoting geological and mining activity.
