This week from October 10 to 15, 2022, the mineral export products of the Democratic Republic of the Congo are showing an upward trend in the majority, according to projections by experts from the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

Copper is up this week at 7,604.30 USD per tonne against 7,506.80 USD per tonne last week, an increase of around 97.7 USD.

Cobalt is also up this week at 51,261 USD per ton against 51,211 USD per ton last week, giving a positive price difference of 50 USD.

Equally, zinc is improving this week at 2,993.9 USD per tonne against 2,974.75 USD per tonne last week, a positive price difference of 19.15 USD.

Only tin is down this week among the DRC’s main mining export products. It is trading at 20.727 USD per tonne this week against 21.483 USD per tonne last week, a negative price difference of 756 USD.

As for gold, it is showing an upward trend this week at 54.50 USD per gram against 53.49 USD per gram last week, a positive price difference of 1.01 USD.

Similarly, silver ore is up at 0.65 USD per gram against 0.62 USD per gram last week, an increase of 0.03 USD.

Tantalum is stable this week at 380 USD per Kg.
