Copper prices rise again this week to more than 8,000 USD per ton (Mercuriales)

Commodity prices show a general upward trend, in the week from August 22 to 26, 2022, for the main mining export products of the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to projections by experts from the National Mercurial Commission.

Copper is trading this week at 8,002 USD per tonne against 7,850.50 USD per tonne last week, giving a positive price difference of 151.95 USD.

Zinc is also up this week at 3,705.85 USD per tonne against 3,538.60 USD per tonne last week, a positive price difference of 167.25 USD.

Tin is also trending higher this week at 24,606.10 USD per tonne versus 24,260 USD per tonne last week, a positive price differential of 346.1 USD.

Silver is also up this week at $0.68 per gram from $0.65 per gram last week, a price differential of $0.33.

As for cobalt, it is down this week at 46,949 USD per tonne against 48,948 USD last week, a negative price difference of 1999 USD.

Gold is also down this week to $57.42 per gram from $57.58 per gram, showing a decline of $0.16.

Tantalum remains stable this week on the international market, according to projections by the National Mercurial Commission.
