65,159 tonnes of cobalt produced in DRC by the mining industry at the end of October 2020, up slightly compared to 2019
The mining industry in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has already produced 65,159 tonnes of cobalt in the first 10 months of the year compared to 65,058 tonnes in the same period in 2019, a slight increase of, according to data from the Central Bank of Congo.
For the whole of 2019, the Democratic Republic of the Congo produced 77,964 tonnes of cobalt against 109,402 tonnes in 2018, the record for the past two decades, and 82,461 tonnes in 2017.
