It is the Special Advisor to the Head of State in matters of infrastructure, Alexy KAYEMBE of BAMPENDE, who has been leading these negotiations since the start of this project with Fortescue Metals Group . In this partnership, the experts of the Presidency of the Republic have opted for the production-sharing model to allow the DRC to have access to its quota, from production, rather than expecting dividends that cannot be obtained. hardly perceive.
With this partnership with Fortescue Metals Group, the DRC wants a paradigm shift. Electricity in the DRC should no longer be used simply as a marketable product but rather as an input for the production of high added value products. This project plans to generate the creation of more than 500,000 direct and indirect jobs in the DRC.
The project also provides for related infrastructure such as roads, bridges and a deep water port to serve these new industrial production sites for hydrogen, ammonia, etc. With this transformative project, the DRC aims to become a major player in the global energy transition towards a circular green economy based on hydrogen, according to the vision of President Félix Tshisekedi.

Led by RVA, Westminster Group will invest its own capital in upgrading airport security equipment, security systems and employee training on a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) basis.
