Market: copper down slightly but its price remains very profitable at 10,331 USD per ton
The DRC’s mining export products continue to record an upturn in prices on the international market in this week from April 11 to 16, 2022, inform the projections of the National Commission of Mercurial Prices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
Although showing a slight drop of barely 1 US dollar, copper remains very profitable on the market. It is trading at 10,331.95 USD per ton this week against 10,332.95 USD per ton last week.
Cobalt also experienced a drop this week and sold at 81,579.00 USD per ton against 82,067.00 USD per ton last week, a negative price difference of 488 USD.
Zinc is still up at 4,335.00 USD per tonne against 4,101.95 USD per tonne, an increase of 233.05 USD.
Tin is also trending higher this week at $43,375.00 per ton versus $42,631.40 per ton last week, a positive price gap of $743.6.
Tantalum is up this week at 380.00 USD per Kg against 376.40 USD per Kg last week, giving rise to a price increase of 3.6 USD.
As for gold, it shows a downward trend at 62.31 USD per gram against 63.93 USD per gram, a negative price difference of 1.62 USD.
Silver is also down this week at $0.80 per gram from $0.84 per gram last week, a negative price differential of $0.04.
