2022/2023 mine rehabilitation program at FQM Trident Limited
Preparations for the 2022/2023 mine rehabilitation program at FQM Trident Limited have reached an advanced stage. The Environmental Department has made good progress in stockpiling top soil, procurement of grass seeds, raising indigenous tree seedlings and re-enforcement of tools and equipment for a successful wet season of grass and tree planting.
Kachiwala Sapalo, FQM Trident Environmental Manager indicates that re-profiling of a decommissioned section of the South Waste Rock Dump is progressing well with 4.2 hectares already done.
