TAZARA’s Mukuba Passenger Train Selected as Best Train in Central Africa
According to Zambia’s Transport Minister Frank Tayali, the TAZARA Passenger Train was scheduled to start running from New Kapirimposhi to Dar-es-Salaam on Tuesday 18th April.
This announcement came as the Mukuba Passenger Train, operated by the Tanzania Zambia Railway Authority, was recognized as the best train in Central Africa.
The Central African Railways Cooperation branch in Malawi evaluated various trains in Angola, Democratic Republic of Congo, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, and Zimbabwe, and declared the Mukuba Passenger Train as the winner.
This remarkable train offers passengers a well-stocked bar, lounge, clean sleepers, toilets, showers, and a dining cart. All sleepers are equipped with fans and bedside lamps, ensuring a comfortable journey for all passengers.
The Mukuba Passenger Train was recently donated by China, and its amenities rival those of a plane. Passengers can experience a luxurious and comfortable journey while traveling on this train.
The TAZARA Passenger Train’s excellence has been acknowledged, and we thank TAZARA for providing such an outstanding service to their passengers.
