4 women/10 Ministers of State
Four women are promoted to the rank of Ministers of State, namely: Thérèse Kayiwamba for Foreign Affairs; Raissa Malu at National Education and New Citizenship; Eve Bazaiba at Environment; and
Acacia Bandubola at Land Affairs.
6 women/24 Ministers
Of the twenty-four (24) appointed Ministers, five (5) are women. They are: Chantal Shambu at Human Rights; Safie Sombo placed in Higher and University Education;
Nathalie Munanza at Social Affairs; Léonie Kandolo at Gender;
Yolande Elebe at the Ministry of Culture and Arts; and Noella Ayebanabato will take care of the Youth sector.
