ARSP Issues Over 2,300 Registration Certificates to Entrepreneurs in Haut Katanga
The Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP) has issued more than 2,300 registration certificates to entrepreneurs in the Haut Katanga province.
This milestone demonstrates the commitment of ARSP Director General Miguel Katemb to realizing the President’s vision of creating a Congolese middle class.
The ceremony was led by provincial director Bijoux Mushitu Kat, who commended the ARSP’s dedication to supporting Congolese subcontractors and called for collective efforts to foster the emergence of a Congolese middle class.
“In the name of the Director General of the ARSP, the honorable Miguel Kashal Katemb, let us stay united and collaborate to bring about the emergence of the Congolese middle class as envisioned by His Excellency Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, Head of State,” she stated.
Following her remarks, registration certificates were officially handed over to a sample of entrepreneurs attending the ceremony. Luc Tshimanga, president of entrepreneurs working in subcontracting, expressed confidence in the ARSP’s actions, noting that it provides reassurance to Congolese businesses and reduces foreign dominance in the sector.
“Today, the ARSP has put us in conditions that reassure us about our business, ensuring that foreigners will no longer have ascendancy over us as they did in the past,” Tshimanga said.
The recipients expressed their gratitude to President Felix Antoine Tshisekedi, ARSP CEO Miguel Kashal Katemb, and provincial director Bijoux Mushitu Kat for formalizing their activities.
The path is now clear for over 2,300 Congolese entrepreneurs in Haut Katanga to engage in the private sector subcontracting industry, with the opportunity to secure their place in the business world.
