Komatsu goes beyond the surface with new machines, platform
During Komatsu’s first-ever virtual unveiling event, it presented the redesigned WX04 Joy legacy-model load-haul-dump (LHD) as well as the all-new WX07 LHD, along with a new common platform for three new jumbo drills and one bolter model.
All of Komatsu’s new releases are designed for hard rock mining.
At the top of the company’s agenda was the release of its new WX07 LHD, a 7-tonne machine designed specifically for small, narrow-vein mines, especially those using cut-and-fill methods.
