DRC Minister of Employment, Labor and Social Welfare, Néné Nkulu Ilunga sensitized mining companies in the province of Lualaba on compliance with labor legislation.

Indeed, in Kolwezi, capital of the aforementioned province, the Minister of State made a round of a few mining companies on Friday November 20 to inquire about the realities relating to the working conditions of different workers.

In the process, the number 1 of employment in the DRC had a working session with the managers of these companies to sensitize them on the respect of the legislation on employment.

“I realized that it is important to carry out a control mission which also has an educational vocation in order to allow you to get in line with the legal and regulatory requirements on the respect of the 3rd level of the minimum wage, the payment of social contributions to the CNSS, the affiliation of workers for continuing training to the INPP and the number of expatriate workers compared to nationals, ” she declared.

She then visited various services and public establishments in the cobalt capital, to soak up the difficulties they face.

Coming from Malemba Nkulu, in Haut-Lomami province, Néné Nkulu Ilunga is on an official mission in Lualaba to assess compliance with working conditions and the number of expatriates in companies.
