Job information

We are looking for an experienced Congolese for the position of Boilermaker. This is a permanent position with a rotational rotation of 2 days, 2 working nights, 2 days off.

Based in Kinsevere and reporting to Supervisor – Manufacturing, this development opportunity is open to all skilled MMG employees willing to grow through this role.

Main responsibilities

Carry out manufacturing work on equipment to be installed at the plant in accordance with the maintenance plan or as required
Carry out repairs at the plant in the event that the boilermaking is deemed necessary in the event of a failure
Provide work safety support by applying Safe Task Management on a daily basis in the performance of their duties

Complete the Task Hazard Analysis (THA) form and ensure their use for all tasks or follow Standardized Operating Procedures (SOP)
Document all the findings of a Maintenance Work Order after completion of the task;
Ensure that all events and hazards are accurately reported in a timely manner in the workplace;
Maintain high standards and quality of work at all times in the workplace;
Promote the culture of continuous improvement within his team and inform the supervisor of the improvement opportunities identified
Perform other tasks as needed

Skills

Ability to work in groups or individually while respecting company procedures and policies;
Be honest, of good character and flexible
Be physically fit and courageous
Be able to listen to and understand information and ideas presented in technical language;
Ability to work under pressure and deliver good results in a timely and safe manner;
Knowing how to read and write in French correctly, English is an asset

Awareness

Knowledge of welding techniques including arc welding, torch welding, TIG, MIG, etc.
Basic knowledge of geometric plots;
Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings;
Ability to perform elementary calculations as well as measurements with the meter;
Knowledge of Work permits and Insulations
