South Korean industrial equipment maker Doosan has launched a “smart” crawler excavator called the DX225LC-7X that has new features such as Full Electric Hydraulic (FEH) technology.   Doosan said the DX225LC-7X’s FEH technology is a VBO system without pilot pressure lines. Joysticks and pedals are fully electric, but give the operator the same feeling as hydraulic joysticks. Swedish OEM Sandvik is upgrading its 30 tonne TH430 dump truck with the newer engine technology and adding the TH430 to the Toro range.
