Kamoa-Kakula’s Phase 1, concentrator plant has exceeded, all design criteria and now is operating at steady-state

Ivanhoe Co-Chairs Robert Friedland and Yufeng “Miles” Sun announced that Kamoa-Kakula’s Phase 1, 3.8 million-tonne-per-annum (Mtpa) concentrator plant has met, or exceeded, all design criteria and now is operating at steady-state. Tesla has signed a three-year deal to buy lithium from Ganfeng Lithium, as it secures supplies of the battery raw material following a rapid rise in prices this year.
