Type of contract: Contract of indefinite duration for nationals and fixed duration for expatriates.
Main responsibilities
The main role of the Coordination – KDP Project is to ensure and actively work on the management of project plans ensuring that deadlines, budget and cost are met. This role aims to promote a frank collaboration between our agents from China as well as our engineers and local contractors by providing high quality administrative support. This position is also responsible for assisting in the translation of documents (Chinese / English / French) in accordance with the requirements prescribed by the company.
Skills
The ideal candidate for this position will have as an asset:
- Excellent oral and written skills in Chinese, English and French languages as well as in the translation of technical documents;
- Exceptional leadership and collaborative skills;
- Excellent computer skills: MS Office and other communication software;
- Capacity for expression in front of a large audience.
Knowledge
- Basic concepts in the field of mining or engineering;
- Understanding of the principles of business support;
- Knowledge of risk management and quality control principles;
- Knowledge of Chinese and Congolese cultures.
Experience
- Academic and professional background in a multicultural environment;
- Professional experience in the mining or engineering sector in China and / or the DRC would be desirable;
- Have worked or evolved in a multicultural environment;
- Have experience leading a team or in a leadership position.
Qualifications
- Have studied in Mandarin.
- An integrated training in or notions in engineering would be desirable
- Certificate issued by an institute specializing in project management.
