Copper at $8,354 per ton in DRC this week: June 19-24, 2023
The price trend of the main mining export products of the Democratic Republic of the Congo oscillates between rising and falling in view of this week’s projections from June 19 to 24, 2023 of the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
Copper is trending up this week and is trading at USD 8,354 per tonne versus USD 8,294 per tonne last week, a positive price differential of USD 60.
Cobalt is showing a stable trend this week and remains around 28,838 USD per ton on the international market.
Zinc is also up this week at $2,390 per ton from $2,302 per ton, up $83.
The other mining product on the rise is tin, which is trading at around 26,555 USD per tonne against 25,899 USD per tonne last week, resulting in a positive price difference of 656 USD.
Silver ore is also up this week at 0.78 USD per gram against 0.77 USD per gram last week, an increase of 0.01 USD.
As for gold, it is showing a downward trend this week at 63.33 USD per gram against 63.40 USD per gram last week, a drop of 0.07 USD.
Tantalum is also down this week at 351.40 USD per Kg against 357 USD per Kg last week, a drop of 5.6 USD.
