Copper price should rebound to USD 8,001 per tonne this week
The price of copper should rebound to 8001 USD per ton for the period from August 19 to 24, 2022 on the international market, inform the experts of the National Commission of Mercurials of the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
According to the report of experts, the general trend of the prices of the main mining export products of the Democratic Republic of Congo oscillates between the rise and the fall.
Copper is green. It is showing a bullish trend this week and would even trade at USD 8,001 per tonne against USD 7,674.95 per tonne last week, giving a positive price gap of USD 326.05.
Cobalt is also up this week at 51,267 USD per tonne compared to 51,265 USD per tonne last week, an increase of 2 USD.
Zinc is also expected to follow the lead of the first two commodities to sell at $3,238.70 per ton versus $3,218.85 per ton, a price gap of $19.85.
Silver remains in the positive trend at $0.61 per gram versus $0.60 per gram last week, a positive price gap of $0.01.
Tin, meanwhile, is expected to show a downtrend this week at USD 21,679 per tonne versus USD 22,615 per tonne last week, down USD 636.
Also, gold is expected to trade lower this week at $55.61 per gram versus $55.90 per gram last week, a negative price differential of $0.29.
The other product in free fall is tantalum which is trading this week at 392 USD per Kg against 408 USD per Kg last week, a drop of 16 USD.
