DRC: 818 tonnes of coltan exported in the first half of 2021 for a value of 98.7 million USD

The Democratic Republic of the Congo exported a total of 818.56 tonnes of coltan for a value of 98 million USD 713,288.00 during the first half of 2021, data from the Ministry of Mines indicate.

The Katanga area is the leading supplier of coltan in the DRC with 230.60 tonnes exported for a value of 81 million 285,413.00 USD.

According to figures from the Ministry of Mines, North Kivu through the city of Goma exported 519.65 tons of coltan for a value of 16 million 9,092.00 USD.

As for the province of South Kivu by Bukavu, barely 68.30 tons of coltan were exported for a value of 1 million 418,783.00 USD.
