DRC: copper and cobalt keep their prices up this week (Mercuriales Min. Commerce Ext.)
Almost all of the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s export commodities are showing rising prices this week on the international market, according to forecasts by the National Mercuriales Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade for the period from 12 to 17. July 2021.
Copper is trading this week on the international market at $ 9,431.90 per tonne against $ 9,353.40 last week, a positive price differential of $ 78.5, according to Mercuriales forecasts from the Congolese Ministry of Foreign Trade.
The same is the case for cobalt which will trade during this week at 50,483.90 USD per tonne against 46,694.00 USD per tonne in the week of July 5 to 10, 2021, i.e. a positive price difference of USD 3,789.9.
Equally, gold is also up to $ 57.93 per gram from $ 57.62 per gram last week, an estimated price increase of $ 0.31.
As for tin, it will be sold this week at around 33,014.40 USD per tonne against 32,779.60 USD per tonne last week, i.e. a price increase of 234.8 USD, data from the National Commission of Mercurial.
