DRC exported 1,038 tonnes of coltan in the first half of 2020 for a value of USD 20.8 million
The Democratic Republic of the Congo exported 1,038.33 tonnes of coltan worth US $ 20 million 88,669 in the first half of 2020, according to figures from the Ministry of Mines.
Exports of Coltan come mainly from the former Province of Katanga at a rate of 45%, i.e. 468.93 tonnes, from North Kivu (418.18 tonnes) and South Kivu (151.22 tonnes) respectively for 40%. and 15%.
