DRC: gold, tin and cobalt up on the market this week (Mercuriales)
Three of the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s main export mining products show an upward trend during the week from September 27 to October 2, 2021, according to projections by the National Commission of Mercurial Prices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.
Cobalt will trade this week at 51,741 USD per tonne against 50,826 USD per tonne last week, a positive price differential of 913 USD.
Likewise, tin is selling this week for around $ 34,925 per tonne against $ 34,113 last week, a price increase of $ 812.
As for gold, it will trade this week at $ 58.96 per gram against $ 58.93 per gram last week, a slight increase of $ 0.03.
Among the ores that are down is copper which is trading at $ 9,312.90 per tonne from $ 9,431.50 per tonne last week, a negative price spread of $ 118.7.
Zinc also shows a downtrend at 3,048.30 USD per tonne against 3,055.90 USD per tonne last week, leaving a negative price differential of 7.6 USD.
Silver and tantalum are showing stable prices this week at $ 0.85 per gram and $ 237 per kg, respectively.
