DRC: Minister of Mines appoints two new directors at the Mining Cadastre
The Minister of Mines, Antoinette N’samba Kalambayi provisionally appoints two internal executives of the Mining Cadastre, René Kazadi Mbuebue and Jean-Marie Isazu to the vacant positions of Technical Director and Financial Director.
This is what his letter of November 01, 2021 informs.
“[…] Her Excellency, Madam Minister of Mines has appointed, on a provisional basis, among the internal executives, Mr René KAZADI MBUEBUE and Jean Marie ISAZU respectively to the vacant positions of Technical Director and Financial Director of the Mining Cadastre in accordance with his organization chart in force “, informs the letter from the Minister of Mines.
The boss of Mines justified the use of this designation procedure by the impossibility of applying Article 27 of Decree No. 17/005 of April 3, 2017 on the statutes, organization and functioning of the Public Mining Cadastre Establishment and the need to avoid the paralysis of the functioning of the service due to this vacuum at the senior management level.
The General Directorate of Mining Cadastre has taken note of these designations and urges the proper functioning within this institution.
“The General Directorate of Mining Cadastre took note of these designations while noting in passing the concern of the supervisory authority to ensure the proper functioning of the CAMI, despite the difficulties of application of the law nº08 / 009 of July 07, 2008 on general provisions applicable to Public Establishments and the above-mentioned Decree in their spirit and letter “, we read in the letter from the Minister of Mines.
As a result, the Director General immediately proceeded on November 4, 2021 to the installation of the designated executives during a Management meeting extended to the heads of Department. He urged them to offer the best of themselves to help keep the banner of CAMI high despite the economic turmoil.
He insisted on the need to further improve CAMI’s performance by working in harmony and cohesion while respecting the regulatory texts that govern it.
