DRC’s presidential chief adviser, Ablavi Michel visits the new mineral trading center of Musompo, Lualaba
The Principal Adviser to the Head of State in charge of mines and energies, Me Eboma Ablavi Michel visited this Saturday, February 20, 2021 the new mineral trading center in Musompo near Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba.
Accompanied by the Vice-Governor and Acting Governor Ms. Fifi Masuka Saini, Me Eboma Ablavi Michel visited various compartments including: the laboratory, the depots, the parking lot for large trucks and the bascule bridge. He congratulated the work carried out by the Provincial Executive.
The provincial authority then took its distinguished guest to the site of the former artisanal trading center. Ms. Fifi Masuka Saini was greeted by a walkabout.
By building this new trading center, Ms. Fifi Masuka Saini in collaboration with her government team wants the Congolese state to have maximum control over all minerals while securing the interests of artisanal miners, those of traders not to mention those mining companies.
