Main responsibilities

The main responsibility of the Electrical Engineer is to participate in the construction, installation and maintenance of equipment and facilities for power and distribution of mine electricity while ensuring the normal operation of the system. Power supply to the mine. He / She will also be responsible for the management and day-to-day maintenance of the mine’s power supply equipment and facilities. The latter will also have to identify and deal with problems linked to the daily operation of electrical equipment and installations.

Skills

• Ability to supervise and collaborate with site staff;
• Have the ability to communicate easily with all levels of the company and work in a team;
• Computer skills with an excellent level in the use of Microsoft Office;
• Have strong skills in engineering disciplines;
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills – have completed training in English if necessary;
• Have a mastery of Mandarin – both written and spoken;
• Efficient report writing.

Knowledge

• Have a solid fundamental knowledge of engineering in the relevant discipline
• Systematic problem solving and solution development skills
• Design capabilities
• Knowledge of appropriate standards and where to find them and knowledge of their application
• Knowledge of processes and facilities to determine the most advantageous solution for the company

Experience

• At least 5 years of technical engineering experience in mining and mineral processing industry or other suitable heavy industry
• Knowledge of CAD software.
• Design, specification and operation of equipment
• Technical design, calculations, drawings, documentation, report writing, organization of technical files

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in a relevant discipline.
