Félix Tshisekedi reassures the private sector of state support for the emergence of local entrepreneurs at Makutano 8
Participating in the eighth edition of the Makutano forum in Mbuji-Mayi, capital of Kasaï-Oriental, the Head of State Félix Tshisekedi called on the people of this province to remain committed and to promote the emergence of Congolese entrepreneurs.
“The time has come to concretely see Congolese champions excel in a completely diversified Congolese economy with mature value chains in the agricultural and industrial sectors,” said Félix Tshisekedi.
He also reassured Congolese citizens to convince the private sector of state support.
About 500 young business leaders and business creation project leaders took part in the exchanges focusing on the theme “Youth entrepreneurship in Mbuji-Mayi: opportunities, challenges and prospects”, organized in partnership with Kivu Entrepreneurs.
By bringing together these young people who are burning to become big bosses, Makutano wants to ensure that the entrepreneurial champions of tomorrow are better equipped and bolder in a world where competition is fierce.
The theme chosen for this eighth edition of the Makutano forum was: “infinitely territories.” The objectives set were to highlight the private sector, diagnose the weaknesses of the sector and identify new paradigms for its resilience.
