Mbuji-Mayi’s TRIPAIX takes under advisement the trial of MIBA experts

The Mbuji-Mayi peace court, sitting last weekend in a fairground at the central prison of Mbuji-Mayi, in the prosecution case against the accused Claude Mianzuila Disimba, former diamond expert of the MIBA company, has taken under advisement this file. He is accused of defamation by the wife of the former financial director of the outgoing management committee of this mining company.

According to the ACP, this judicial body has exhausted all stages of the judicial process, in accordance with the Congolese penal code. The body of the law requested the sentence of one year of SPP against the accused, we inform this office.

The civil party requested from this court, the conviction of the defendant on arguments put forward to prove the guilt of the defendant, inform the conclusions of the pleadings filed by the counsel of these two parties to the trial. On the other hand, the defense of the accused alleges that the civil party lacked material evidence capable of justifying the offense charged against his client, and therefore seeks his acquittal.

Recall that, it is since July 2020 that the accused Claude Mianzuila Disimba is still serving the preventive sentence at the central prison of Mbuji-Mayi. For the court concerned, the pronouncement will take place within the time limit provided by law.
