Miguel Kashal Takes the Helm of ARSP Control at Kamoa Mining Firm
The Director General of the Subcontracting Regulatory Authority (ARSP), Miguel Kashal, made a working visit to the installations of the Kamoa mining company located on the outskirts of the town of Kolwezi, capital of the province of Lualaba.
This visit is part of the ongoing mission to enforce the Law on subcontracting in the private sector and its implementing measures.
For this work mission, the subcontracting policeman in the DRC was accompanied by ARSP inspectors as well as a strong delegation of subcontractors from this province.
With the managers of this company, discussions focused on secondary activities reserved for Congolese working in subcontracting, according to the requirements of the law.
After this meeting, the two parties agreed to include the delegation of subcontractors in this meeting in order to reassure them of the win-win partnership now effective thanks to the efforts of the Congolese Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi.
“We were delighted with the presence of General Manager Miguel Kashal who came to speak in the name and on behalf of the entrepreneurs.
We understood that we have a lawyer with the Head of State and by listening to all our complaints to send them to the Head of State so that the thing can be implemented. said a subcontractor.
The latter was completed by another entrepreneur who praises the implementation of the word given by the ARSP.

A team of OPJs from the ARSP is currently on mission in Greater Katanga. This part of the country constitutes the second phase of the control initiated by the ARSP.
Objective of this control: to verify the application of the rules of subcontracting by all main companies and multinational companies operating in all sectors of the national economy.
