Overall Job Purpose
To carry out day to day plant operations of Aggregate Crushing by ensuring equipment availability at the crusher, while upholding high standards of safety of the equipment and that of other employees.
Specific Job Responsibility
- Ensure the KPIs are achieved in the assigned sections.
- Control the operational activities in the assigned area of operation.
- Ensure the plant availability in terms of Operation and Maintenance for smooth operations.
- Ensure proper and accurate reporting of break downs and properly recording in the log sheets any downtime.
- Ensure the Mobile equipment in the area adheres to standard operational procedures and area of operation is flagged.
- Analyse and report operational defects to supervisor / maintenance.
- Ensure good work environment (good housekeeping).
- Safety of all activities carried out within operating site both by KML and Contractors on site (PPE).
Experience and Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience in similar role, preferably in a similar environment
- Have Knowledge of Crusher Operation, Screens, and Conveyors.
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
