Main responsibilities
The main objective of this role is to be responsible for the selection and formulation of the technological scheme for the cobalt recovery process in the hydrometallurgy of copper and sulphide / cobalt oxide ore. Examine the process diagram and optimize the design and implementation. Be responsible for technical disclosure prior to process construction and properly review engineering design changes.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently within a small team and support its members;
- Be able to participate in plant shutdowns and production planning;
- To be able to identify the problems which may delay or reduce the effectiveness of the various aspects of the processes relating to the process flow and to define an appropriate solution.
Knowledge
- Excellent communication skills in Mandarin – written and oral;
- Good command of English and French languages - written and oral;
- Significant exposure to solvent extraction / electro-extraction well considered
- Good understanding of the training methodology and its practical application in the operational process
- Ability to translate a complex technical concept into a practical, simple and easy-to-understand approach
- Strong mindset in asset management
Experience
- Have at least five years of proven experience in a heavy metal separation plant;
- Having managed a production unit in a pyro-metallurgical metal processing plant.
Qualifications
- Higher diploma from a technical institute in fields such as Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or equivalent;
