The Copperbelt Katanga Mining Team Congratulates DRC president on his appointment as Chairman for the African Union
The Copperbelt Katanga Mining team congratulates Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on his appointment as the new Chairman of the African Union for the year 2021.
President Tshisekedi takes over from Cyril Ramaphosa, the President of the Republic of South Africa, who has completed his year-long term as Chairman.
The African Union is a continental union consisting of 55 member states located on the continent of Africa. The AU was announced in the Sirte Declaration in Sirte, Libya, on 9 September 1999, calling for the establishment of the African Union and it’s headquartered is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The African Union is a pioneer in the development and integration of Africa in close cooperation with the member states of the African Union, the regional economic communities and the African citizens.
