The new Chinese company “Carilu” will produce up to 1,500 tons of cement per day | DRC
The National Minister of Industry, Julien Paluku Kahongya, officially launched the commencement of cement production by the company “Carilu” earlier this month in Kolwezi, capital of Lualaba, . This took place in the presence of Richard Muyej, governor of the province.
Julien Paluku explained that this company will decrease the unemployment rate in this part of the country since it will hire at least 1000 employees.
“The production of cement, on site in Kolwezi, demonstrates the concern that the Head of State, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, to fight against unemployment because, as an example, this production of local cement will have to hire at least a thousand people in the days to come ”, explained the Minister of Industry.
For his part, Governor of Lualaba, Richard Muyej, did not hide his joy at seeing this dream come true.
“We are happy to see that yesterday’s dream has come true. This shows us that in Lualaba, the time is no longer for speeches, but rather for actions. The year 2020 is a year of real action, as the Head of State had said ”, suggested Richard Muyej.
