On the international market for mining products, cobalt should record a price increase this week, inform the experts of the National Commission of Mercurial of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

According to projections made by this specialized service, cobalt, which has struggled for several months, should trade at 49,257.00 USD per tonne this week against 46,949.00 USD per tonne last week.

The price of cobalt is expected to register a price increase of around USD 2,308, or 4.92%.

According to this document, the main mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) should register a price drop during the period from August 29 to September 3, 2022.

Apart from cobalt, the National Mercurial Commission indicates that copper and tin should also see a slight increase in the market to trade respectively at 8,048.00 USD per ton this week against 8,002.45 USD per ton this week. past, a slight price increase of 45.56 USD and 24,849.00 USD per tonne for tin this week against 24,606.10 USD per tonne last week, an increase of 242.9 USD.

On the other hand, commodities such as zinc, gold and silver are expected to fall in the international market this week.

Zinc is expected to trade at USD 3,546.70 per tonne this week versus USD 3,705.85 per tonne a week earlier, a price decline of around -USD 159.15.

The price of gold, which is also following this downward trend, should trade at 56.56 USD per Kg this week against 57.42 USD per Kg last week, a drop of 0.86 USD.

Silver is expected to trade at $0.62 per Kg this week versus $0.68 per Kg last week, down $0.06.

For the second consecutive week, tantalum should remain stable at 410.00 USD per Kg on the international market.
