Tin Expected to Decline to $26,681 per Tonne This Week
According to the report of the experts of the National Commission of Mercurial Prices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the ore of tin should register a significant drop this week on the international markets.
Indeed, the tin exported by the DRC should trade at 26,681 USD per tonne this week against 27,715 USD per tonne last week, a negative price difference of 1,034 USD.
It should be noted that this week does not bode well for the main mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Apart from tin, cobalt should also fall this week on the international market to 35,012 USD per tonne against 37,596 USD per tonne last week, a negative difference of around 2,584 USD.
Projections from the National Mercurial Commission note that zinc is also expected to fall this week to $3,090 a tonne from $3,107 last week, a negative price differential of $16.95.
Gold fell this week to 56.16 USD per gram against 60.03 USD per gram last week, a drop of 3.87 USD.
The same source notes the fall in the price of silver ore which should sell this week at 0.70 USD per gram against 0.71 USD per gram last week, a drop of around 0.01 USD.
In addition, copper and tantalum should record a slight price increase this week respectively to 8,999 USD per tonne against 8,905 USD per tonne last week for copper, a positive price difference of 94.45 USD.
Tantalum should sell at 384 USD per Kg this week against 380 USD per Kg last week, giving rise to a price increase of 4 USD.
