Overall Job Purpose
- As a member of the TSF & Services team and reporting into the Process day crew Supervisor TSF
- To ensure the continuous availability and quality operations for the TSF.
- To ensure the continuous availability and quality of operation at remote location and other dams.
- To ensure manageable water balance at the TSF.
- To ensure all cyclones and spigots are operating as required at all the times
- Mobile equipment operation where and when required.
- To keep the site clean
- To run a team of 2 to 5 attendants when and where required by the supervisor
- To participating project and engineering crews duties when request by the supervisor
- To do this while keeping people safe, protecting the equipment, and ensuring that no discharges occur to environment.
Specific Job Responsibility
- Area of accountability is TSF and 2 other major water retaining dams
- Environmental control at remote positions
- Mobile equipment operation where and when required.
- Wear and maintain PPE.
- Follow KML safety procedures and guidelines.
- Undertake any ad hoc or non-routine requests assigned by the Supervisor.
- Complete operating checks according to instructions given by the Supervisor and deliver to the Supervisor prior to end of each shift.

- Assist the day crew Supervisor in his duties and be able to cover his duties when required.

Experience required to perform in this job
- At least 1 year of experience in a processing plant, preferably in copper production.
- At least 2 years’ experience of large scale tailings dam
- Experience of operating cyclones
Qualifications
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Valid driver’s license
- Technical Certificate
