World: down, the price of cobalt drops to 81,579.00 USD per ton this week

The general trend of mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is bearish on the international market for the week from April 11 to 16, 2022.

This is reported in the press release from the National Commission of Mercurial Prices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, which assesses weekly the evolution of the prices of mining and agricultural products exported from the DRC.

According to this press release, cobalt is expected to fall in the market to trade at 81,579.00 USD per ton this week against 82,067.00 USD per ton last week.

Thus, this product should record a negative price difference of around 488 USD during this week, informed this document of the National Commission of Mercurial.

This downward trend is also confirmed on the London metals market which fixes the price of cobalt at 81,820 USD per ton on April 11, 2022.

According to projections by experts from the National Mercurial Commission, products such as copper, gold and silver should also experience a drop in price on this market.

Slightly lower, copper is expected to sell at $10,331.95 per ton this week from $10,332.95 per ton last week, registering a negative price gap of -1$.

As for gold, the price of which is also down, it should trade at 62.31 USD per gram this week against 63.93 USD per gram last week, a negative price difference of around -1 .62USD.

Silver is no exception to this downtrend. This product loses $0.04 in value, going from $0.84 per gram last week to $0.80 per gram this week.
