World: the 1 kg gold bar climbs to €58,790.00 on the international market

Contrary to the projections of the National Commission for Market Prices of the Ministry of Foreign Trade of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the price and quotation of gold on the stock exchange on April 13, 2022 stood at EUR 58,790.00 for the 1 kilogram gold bar or 64,160.88 USD on the international market against nearly 56,200.00 euros last week.

Gold thus recorded a price increase on the international metals market of around EUR 2,590 during the period mentioned.

According to the release of the National Commission of Mercurials, for the period from April 11 to 16, 2022, the 1 kilogram gold bar is expected to trade at USD 62,310.00.

According to data provided by this structure attached to the Ministry of Foreign Trade, one gram of gold should trade at 62.31 USD this week.

It should be noted that the 1 kg gold bar represents the most “classic” version (used for stock market quotations) and generally weighs between 995 grams and 1005 grams.

Consisting of one kilo of gold, this ingot gradually came to replace the stock market gold bar (which itself weighs more than 12 kilos), its success being due to the ease of attesting to its purity and of its exact weight.

It should also be noted that the price of zinc on the Shanghai stock exchange also reached its highest level since July 2007, on Wednesday April 13, 2022, due to concerns over supply shortages in China, the largest consumer.

The most traded zinc contract in May on the Shanghai Futures Exchange rose 5.4% to 28,995 yuan per ton or 4,554.16 USD, before stabilizing 3.2% to 28,395 yuan representing 4,459 .92 USD.

Benchmark zinc on the London Metals Exchange hit $4,521.50, the highest since March 8.

The price of this metal used to galvanize steel hit a record $4,896 a ton last month.
