Metso Outotec to deliver 100th Anode innovation

Finland-based mining technology manufacturer Metso Outotec will deliver its 100th Anode Casting Shop to PT Smelting’s (PTS) copper smelter in Gresik, East Java, Indonesia. Sweden-based supplier Epiroc has won an order from Kamoa Copper for mining equipment that will be used at a large underground mine in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The company said Kamoa Copper had ordered Minetruck MT65 haulers, the world’s highest payload underground truck in the field, and Scooptram ST18 loaders and Boomer 282 face drilling rigs but did disclose the quantity.
