DRC produced 4.209 million carats of diamonds in the first 7 months of 2020

The diamond industry in the Democratic Republic of the Congo produced 4.209 million carats at the end of July 2020 against 7.170 million carats at the same period in 2019, a decrease of 41.3% recorded. In this 2020 production volume, there are 1.89 million carats of industrial diamonds and 2.318 million diamonds from artisanal miners.
