A tonne of cobalt should trade at 87,781.05 USD this week

According to projections by experts from the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, the general trend of the main mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo is downward during the period from May 16 to 21, 2022.

According to these projections, during the period considered, a single product should register a very significant increase in price on the international market. These include cobalt which is expected to decline from $81,485.00 per ton last week to $87,781.05 per ton this week.

Indeed, this product should record a positive price difference of around 6,296.05 USD, representing a price increase of 7.73% compared to its price last week.

It should be noted that the projections confirming the upward trend in prices as announced by the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade seem to be the opposite of the current reality of the international market.

On the London Stock Exchange, a tonne of cobalt fell to 74,670.00 USD from 81,485.00 USD per tonne last week.

Gold is also trending lower this week and is trading at $60.75 per gram from $61.09 per gram last week, giving a negative price gap of -0.34 USD.

It should be noted that these prices are likely to vary according to market trends.
