The delegation of the Regulatory Authority for Subcontracting in the Private Sector (ARSP), led by its Director General, Miguel Kashal Katemb, continues the inspection on compliance with the legislation on subcontracting in mining companies of the province of Lualaba.

After inspecting the company Tenke FUNGURUME, located 80 kilometers from the town of Kolwezi, the CEO of ARSP reassures that this company is willing to collaborate with ARSP in terms of subcontracting.

“Our control here in the province of Lualaba, I am accompanied by entrepreneurs, because they are the beneficiaries of the action of the President of the Republic, who said that it is a fight for economic independence.

We spoke with the managers of Tenke Fungurume Mining. They are ready to collaborate with ARSP inspectors. At the end of the inspection, there will be conclusions.

We call on all Congolese to continue to trust the Head of State, because this is a first in our country where the Head of State Félix-Antoine is so involved in promoting subcontracting. said Miguel Kashal Katemb.

Present in the delegation of the Director General of the ARSP, the subcontractor entrepreneurs welcomed the materialization of this vision of President Tshisekedi, of “the creation of the true middle class”.

“It is our duty to support the ARSP in this control so that we see clearly, the President of the Republic wants it, and the CEO of the ARSP as well. To this end, we want this better middle class,” declared, for his part, Don Israel Mbuyi, local entrepreneur.

As a reminder, the companies KAMOA, SICOMINES and KAMOTO copper company (KCC) are already under the control of the ARSP.

Since October 1, 2023, the general management of the ARSP in collaboration with the FEC has launched the control of subcontracting activities in all companies with a view to activating the mechanism for promoting companies with majority Congolese capital. in the secondary activities of companies.
