As of August 28, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 7,695,475 while over 61,945,696 vaccinations have been administered across the continent. Reported deaths in Africa reached 193,394 and  6,791,572 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases 2,747,018 and 81,187 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (843,357), Tunisia (654,798), Libya (303,790), Ethiopia (303,171), Egypt (287,393) and Kenya (233,801).
