Cobalt falls to USD 53,749.00 per ton this week globally (Mercuriales)

The prices of the main mining products exported from the Democratic Republic of Congo recorded a downward trend on the international market during the period from July 25 to 30, 2022, inform the experts of the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

According to this Commission, cobalt is expected to fall to trade at 53,749.00 USD per ton this week against 59,741.00 USD last week, a negative price difference of 5,992 USD.

Copper is also expected to continue its downtrend to $7,237.05 per ton from $7,576.05 per ton last week, down $339.

Zinc fell this week to 3,011.20 USD per tonne compared to 3,125.75 USD per tonne last week, resulting in a negative price difference of 114.55 USD.

Similarly, tin fell this week to 25,021.25 USD per tonne against 25,821.00 USD per tonne last week, a negative price difference of 799.75 USD.

Gold also tumbled to 55.35 USD per gram from 55.96 USD per gram last week, a drop of 0.61 USD.

Silver is also down at $0.61 per gram from $0.62 last week, giving a negative price differential of $0.01.

As for tantalum, it remained stable this week at 410.00 kg.
