Cobalt to trade at $ 51,186.00 per tonne this week
The price per tonne of Cobalt is expected to fall on the international market in the first week of September 2021.
In its report of August 30, 2021, the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade informs that the main export mining products of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) show a downward trend from August 30 to September 4, 2021.
Cobalt is expected to drop from $ 52,205.00 to $ 51,186.00 per tonne this first week of September 2021. As a result, there is a negative price differential of $ 1,019.
The same source also reports the drop in the ton of Zinc. It is expected to sell at $ 2,958.60 from $ 3,011.30 the week before, a negative spread of $ 52.7.
The National Mercurial Commission reports the same negative trend for Copper which is expected to fall to 9,079.90 USD per tonne this week from 9,416.50 USD per tonne the previous week, a negative price spread of 336.6 USD.
Gold is the only mining commodity showing a slight increase this week, according to the Commission, selling for around $ 59.06 per gram versus $ 59.01 per gram, a positive price differential of $ 0.05.
Silver and Tantalum will remain stable on the market and will be sold this week at around 0.85 USD per gram and 237.00 USD per Kg respectively.
