Doudou Fwamba replaces Nicolas Kazadi at the Ministry of Finance

The recent upheaval in the Sama II Government has led to significant changes in key ministerial positions. Notably, Nicolas Kazadi has been replaced by Doudou Fwamba as Minister of Finance.

Meanwhile, Aimé Boji Sangara, the Minister of State and Minister of Budget, retains his position, with the National Economy portfolio now entrusted to Professor Daniel Mukoko Samba.

Among the survivors from the previous government are Jean-Lucien Busa, Patrick Muyaya, Guy Loando, and Jean-Pierre Lihau. Patrick Muyaya remains at the Ministry of Communication and Media, while Jean-Pierre Lihau has been reappointed to the Civil Service.

In a notable shift, former Minister of Foreign Trade Jean-Lucien Bussa now assumes responsibility for the State Portfolio. Other ministers, such as Eve Bazaiba, Alexis Gisaro, and Guy Loando, continue their missions in their respective ministries.

Furthermore, there are several new entries into the government. Guylain Nyembo, previously Chief of Staff to the Head of State, now serves as Minister of Planning and Coordination of Development Aid. Jacquemain Shabani replaces Peter Kazadi as Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of the Interior, and Security.

Various other appointments include Stéphanie Mbombo as Minister Delegate to the Minister of State for the Environment, Raissa Malou for National Education and New Citizenship, and Léonie Kandolo for the Ministry of Gender.

Additionally, Bestine Kazadi assumes the role of Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, while Chantal Mwamvite takes on the Ministry of Human Rights.

These changes reflect a significant restructuring of the government, aiming to address various challenges and priorities facing the Democratic Republic of Congo.
