Gold continues to rise this week from January 8 to 13, 2024 in DRC

The majority of mining export products from the DRC in this week of January 8 to 13, 2024 are on the rise, according to forecasts from the National Mercuriales Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade.

Gold showed an improvement this week to 66.82 USD per gram against 66.38 USD per gram last week, an increase of 0.44 USD.

Tantalum is also up this week at 238.5 USD per kg against 211. USD per kg last week, giving a positive price difference of 5 USD.

Zinc also shows an upward trend at 2622.75 USD per tonne against 2577.30 USD per tonne the previous week, an increase of 45.45 USD.

Likewise, tin is trading higher this week at 25,346.75 USD per tonne compared to 24,996.25 USD per tonne last week, an increase of 350.5 USD.

As for copper, it shows a downward trend at 8,467 USD per tonne against 8,493 USD per tonne last week, giving a negative price difference of 26.2 USD.

Cobalt is also down this week at USD 28,451 per tonne from USD 28,456 per tonne the previous week, a decrease of USD 5.00.

Silver ore shows a downward trend this week at 0.77 USD per gram against 0.79 USD per gram last week
