Overall Job Purpose
- Provide day-to-day planning, marketing, coordination and administering of the hotel services and management of staff. The position holder will ensure provision of exceptional guest service, continually exceeding the highest possible standards whilst ensuring that objectives are met and maintained at all times.
Specific Job Responsibility
- Plan, implement and manage overall hotel daily operations
- Understand the business risk and possible competition that could impact the business and provide early alerts to management
- Conduct hotel budgeting and financial planning
- Manage and track the hotels inventory and order new items as needed
- Prepare and manage schedules and shifts
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are in pristine condition and well maintained.
- Build and maintain cordial long-term business relationships with visitors and clients
- Build relationships with hotel vendors
- Train the front desk staff in hotel protocols, guest registration, and other duties
- Evaluate staff performances
- Ensure safety and adherence to rules and regulations

Qualifications & Experience required to perform in this job
- Minimum of Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or extensive experience in related field
- At least 3 years proven experience in hotel management or similar role
- Strong understanding of the hospitality industry management best practices
