Market: Cobalt jumps to over 63,000 USD per tonne this week from December 6 to 11, 2021

The market for merchant mining products for export from the Democratic Republic of the Congo is improving this week from December 6 to December 11, 2021, according to projections by experts from the National Mercurial Commission of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, which is piloted by the Minister Jean-Lucien Bussa.

Cobalt remains higher and is trading this week around $ 63,145.00 per tonne versus $ 61,232.85 per tonne last week, showing a positive price differential of $ 1,912.15.

Copper is also trending upward to $ 9,752.00 per tonne versus $ 9,603.40 per tonne last week, for a positive price differential of $ 148.6.

Likewise, zinc is up this week on the international market at $ 3,372.00 per tonne against $ 3,271.70 per tonne last week, a positive price differential of $ 100.3.

Tin also shows an uptrend of $ 40,398.00 per tonne versus $ 39,655.00 per tonne last week, for a price increase of $ 743.

Gold is down this week to $ 58.09 per gram from $ 59.83 per gram last week, a negative price spread of $ 1.74.

Silver is also down this week to $ 0.76 per gram from $ 0.80 per gram last week, down $ 0.04 per gram.

Tantalum remains stable this week on the international mining products market and is trading around 263.00 USD per Kg.
