Job information
We are looking for an experienced Congolese for the post of Adjuster – Mechanics. This is a permanent position with a rotation of 5 working days, 2 days off.
Based in Kinsevere and reporting to Supervisor – Mechanical, this development opportunity is open to all skilled MMG employees willing to grow through this role.

Main responsibilities:
- Ensure the repair of mechanical equipment at the Kinsevere hydro-metallurgical plant in accordance with the maintenance plan or in the event of unexpected breakdowns
- Identify failures during inspections on critical equipment, propose and discuss corrective actions with the supervisor
- Provide work safety support by applying Safe Task Management on a daily basis in the performance of their duties
- Document in writing all findings on a Maintenance Work Order after completion of the tbitter
- Complete the Task Hazard Analysis (HAT) form and ensure that it is use for all tasks or follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Ensure that all incidents and hazards are accurately reported in a timely manner in the workplace;
- Maintain a high standard of good workplace attire
- Promote the culture of continuous improvement within his team and inform the supervisor of the improvement opportunities identified
- Perform other tasks as needed
Skills :
- Ability to work in groups or individually while respecting company procedures and policies;

- Be able to listen to and understand information and ideas presented in technical language;
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver good results in a timely and safe manner;
- Knowing how to read and write correctly in French, English is an asset;
Awareness :
- Maintenance and assembly of mechanical equipment, mainly factory pumps of Warman, Samco, Sulzer, etc.
- Bearing assembly and disassembly techniques
- General knowledge of traditional or modern techniques for aligning trees and pulleys and belts or able to learn them
- Knowledge of work authorization systems.
- Able to interpret technical drawings
- General knowledge of hydraulics
Experience :
- Have 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the maintenance of equipment in a hydro-metallurgical plant
- Secondary school diploma in Mechanics level A2 or Certificate of vocational studies level A3 in a recognized educational establishment
- Valid driver’s license
