The fourth edition of the forum, themed “The Future of Wealth,” gathered prominent business leaders from across the globe.

As a panelist, Kashal highlighted the Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DRC) investment potential and its commitment to fostering local content development.

He emphasized the vision of President Félix Tshisekedi to empower the middle class and promote sustainable partnerships in the country.

“My country, the DRC, under President Tshisekedi’s leadership, is proud to participate in this forum to promote the value chain and secure investments.

The objective is to build partnerships that create jobs, transform our environment, and benefit local communities,” Kashal stated.

Kashal underlined the DRC’s wealth in natural resources, including copper, cobalt, diamonds, gold, and lithium, as key drivers for economic growth and opportunities in the value chain. He also stressed the importance of innovation and collaboration to uplift local populations and enhance industrial activities.

On the sidelines of the forum, Miguel Kashal and his delegation met with His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, a member of the UAE’s Supreme Council and ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.
